Nammos, the restaurant and beach club brand that began on Psarou beach in Mykonos, has announced its first location in the United States, and it is going to Midtown Manhattan. The brand says the New York venue will sit on 51st Street and spread across three floors, with a Mediterranean kitchen and a dining room that is planned to run from lunch through late night.
The announcement, contributed by Nammos and published on October 28, does not give a street number or an opening date. The company's own New York page is already live, and it describes the restaurant as the brand's New York debut in the heart of Midtown.
What the Midtown Nammos will serve
According to the Nammos New York page, the menu will be built around Aegean classics alongside a set of Japanese dishes, a pairing the brand also uses at its seaside locations, where the menus lean on fish, seafood, sushi and premium beef. The company frames the New York room as a place that shifts through the day, starting with business lunches and moving toward a louder, music-driven evening.
The release lists four parts to the plan:
- Mediterranean cooking, adapted for a city dining room rather than a beach.
- A music program that changes the atmosphere as the night goes on.
- Design made for Manhattan, spread over three levels on 51st Street.
- A day-to-night schedule, covering lunch, dinner and late hours.
The second city location for a beach brand
Nammos built its name as a summer destination. The original sits on Psarou beach in Mykonos, and the brand has since added seasonal and resort locations in Dubai, Limassol in Cyprus, Cannes, Baja Sardinia, Montenegro and Doha, with a resort at AMAALA on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast also listed on its site.
New York will be its second location in a city rather than on a coast. The first is Nammos London, which occupies a two-floor address in Mayfair. That location gives a sense of how the format translates indoors: it serves all-day dining, offers private and semi-private dining rooms, and runs a weekday business lunch priced from 24 pounds for two courses or 29 pounds for three. Whether the New York location will follow the same pricing model has not been announced.
The company behind the brand is Nammos Hotels & Resorts, which describes itself as a brand of ADMO, a joint venture between Alpha Dhabi and Monterock International.
What is still unknown
The announcement leaves several practical details open. There is no confirmed street address beyond 51st Street, no opening month, no hours and no menu prices. The reservations page on the brand's site lists booking links for London, Dubai, Cannes, Limassol, Baja Sardinia and Montenegro, but not yet for New York.
The brand has also not said which part of Midtown's 51st Street it will occupy. The street crosses the center of the business district, passing near Rockefeller Center and the stretch of Park and Lexington Avenues to the east.
Getting there
West 51st Street and East 51st Street are both served by several subway stations. The B, D, F and M stop at 47-50 Sts Rockefeller Center, the 6 stops at 51 St on Lexington Avenue, and the E and M stop at Fifth Avenue/53 St and Lexington Avenue/53 St. Once the exact address is published, the nearest station will depend on which avenue the restaurant sits closest to.
How to follow the opening
Nammos has not opened bookings for Manhattan. The New York page on the Nammos site is where the brand has placed its announcement, and the site's newsletter signup is the channel the company offers for updates across its locations. The brand's news page is where it has historically posted opening dates for new destinations, including the reopening of Nammos Dubai in December 2025.
When the address, opening date and reservation link are published, we will add them here.
