Summer on the Hudson presents a staged reading of Strange Confessions, a new play by Laura MacLean. Peyton is an eccentric writer, who suffers from chronic agoraphobia. When life in NYC gets to be too much for her, she withdraws into the safe haven of her apartment. As a result of recent construction in the building, the air vent system has created a virtual telephone effect through Peyton’s centrally located kitchen vent. Consequentially, Peyton learns about her neighbors most private secrets and scandals.
